We (my daughter and I) have started another new hobby of bleaching shirts. I scoured Pinterest for tutorials and ideas. Then we just went for it. We have been making shirts for our immediate family and now we have started on our Christmas gifts. We have found that black and darker shirts work best. Second bleached shirt I've made!!

Yesterday I decided to try out the bleach pen idea that I've always heard about. It was awesome. This is a dark brown cami (for some reason it just wouldn't photograph well), which turned pink/purple when bleached. And this is a blue-gray shirt (one of the cheap 5 dollar ones you can get at Forever 21) - for some reason this one photographed really well. I decided to go all out and draw a peacock on this one. All in all, bleach pen shirts are fun, and a great way to avoid working on ugly…
