Ceramicsmadebyj on Instagram: "Making a take-away cup. I've had some time this week to play around with some new ideas and these take-away cups have been one of them. The lid attachments don't come off so the best way to wash the insides would be either a good soak with water and detergent or in the dishwasher (yes, ceramics are dishwasher safe, it's just important to be aware of thermal shock that could cause them to crack). I already have an idea of how I want to glaze them, and cannot wait to show you how they turn out. Stay tuned for part 2 of this series!" Pinched Pottery on Instagram: "4oz pinched cups in espresso. I named this clay “espresso”, it’s actually a mix of 3 different brown clays that I loved but unfortunately discontinued. I also added in coarse grog as well. Started with a ball of clay about 220-230g and as always, rough shaped them first then let them dry until they are firm enough to be handled without losing their shape to do the final shaping/pinching. I didn’t need any tools for these. Raw inside and out - fired twice, bisque fired at cone 04 then glazed fired at cone 6 without any glazes on. Sealed with @liquid_quartz_sealer. Full making videos are saved on story highlights. . . . . . #stoneware #darkclay #pinchpot #handbuiltpottery #handmademug #handbuilding #ceramiclove #rustic #ceramics #tableware #ceramiccup #pinc Hand Pinched Pottery, Handbuilding Pottery Ideas Pinch Pots, Ceramic Pinch Pots Ideas, Hand Built Cups, Pinch Mug Pottery, Pinch Cups Ceramics, Ceramic Hand Built Mugs, Pinch Pot Mug, Pinch Mug
