I decided to give it a try and make a scene based on a still life reference. My goal was to recreate a shot as close as possible + keep a reasonable polycount. For sure, this project levelled up my texturing skills. Overall I'm happy with the result but, still, there is a space to grow. Feedbacks, as always, are welcomed :). The table surface was taken from Quixel.

An original oil painting of a still life on panel. This painting brings to life the renewing energy of cherry blossoms- also known as "sakura" in Japanese. Because these delicate sakura flowers are short-lived, they represent the fleeting nature of life and have become a symbol of renewal reminding us to appreciate whatever we have in front of us, for as long as we have it with us.
