Twig Blights are small plant creatures who are magically created and viscous. Thought to have generated from the spilled blood of a vampire that was absorbed into the routes of trees, Twig Blights seek out creatures with blood and drain them of their lifeblood after mauling the with overpower numbers. I took me a while but I'm back to painting again, with a character made for the "March of the living trees" character design challenge. I noticed my impostor syndrome had grown strong, and I'm trying to be more forgiving with my work (Thanks, Adam Duff <3)

Tree Spirits are the ultimate guardians of the woodland realms. They are the spirits of past Treesingers brought unto the world once more, nestled within titanic bodies of bough and branch. Having shed the feeble flesh they once knew, they have truly become one with the forest, bonded with the great spirit of nature unto eternity. Concept art for a personal project of mine.
