Product Details

I created this set of multiplication timed tests for my students after I couldn't find exactly what I was looking for with other timed tests available on the market. Multiplication problems are put into 15 levels- one for each of the numbers 2 through 12, and one for each of the groups of facts (x0, x1, x2); (x3, x4, x5); (x6, x7, x8); (x9, x10, x11). You can use the individual number fact tests, the groups of fact tests, or mix them both (which is what I do in my classroom.) With 4 versions made for each level, there are 60 timed test pages included here. The time given can be modified for students who need more minutes or no time limit, problems can be crossed off as another modification, and I have also tri-folded the timed tests for students who get overwhelmed looking at so many problems at once. Students are given 2 minutes time to complete as many facts as they can, with a total of 50 problems possible. Students who answer 45 or more correctly (90% or above) "PASS" onto the next level for the next timed test day. Students who answer less than 45 problems "STAY" on that level for the next timed test day. They should flip their timed test over and practice the facts missed on the back, once their corrected test is returned to them. In this way, students always see that it's really just a few facts that they need to practice, and they have "fact power" over the rest already! Because I passed my own timed tests years ago by memorizing the order of the problems ("when the teacher says GO, I will write 12, 8, 20, 6...") I created four versions of EVERY timed test level! So if a student needs to retake a level, they will get the same facts but in a different order. I always tell my students how lucky they are to have a teacher who learned from her own teacher's mistakes, but they never seem very grateful... ;) I ALSO HAVE SIMILAR ADDITION, SUBTRACTION, AND DIVISION TIMED TESTS FOR SALE ON MY TpT SITE!
