Ceramic Bowl - The flared shape of this bowl is sized just so for two hands to hold, in a gesture of offering. The piece was burnished with terra sigillata, then nested and fired in saggar containers along with mineral-soaked combustibles to capture the color of vapors and markings from the burning materials. This one-of-a-kind piece is intended for display.
