The blended grays, tans, browns, and blacks of the natural wood create a very unique piece. The rawness of the wood has been softened somewhat by cleaning and sanding. Also, the table can serve well as a night stand next to the bed, an end table at the end of a sofa or recliner, or even a side table. This eco-friendly table will make a great addition to you home decor and will always be in fashion - after all, nature never goes out of fashion. * This table is all hand constructed and is sturdy enough to last for a life time of use. The design is intended to be practical as well - with a broad and deep pull out drawer at 9" wide by 16" deep - ideal for notebooks, remote controls, small books, or a deck of cards. Plus there is a shelf nestled in the arching legs for additional storage - well suited for magazines or newspapers (6" of overhead space). Plus, if you really want to maximize your storage, there is room underneath the table to add a storage basket or container. * Construction ... the table is constructed of full 1" thick reclaimed barnwood. The baltic plywood pull drawer has friction supports to guide it's path, drawer stops to prevent the drawer from being pulled completely out, and is capped with a beautiful glass swirl pull knob (other knob styles available upon request). All joints are glued and screwed to insure long-term structural stability that nails can't provide.
