How do you create an evolving work of art that commemorates current and future donors? This was the challenge for our team while creating the Legacy Wall at Kanawha County Public Library in Charleston, West Virginia. The wall is made up of juxtaposed blocks, alternating plain white with etched names or printed with the fuchsia state flower, the rhododendron. Each block is easily replaceable, resulting in the library having the flexibility to continuously add donor names to the wall.
