741K views · 1K comments | easy no bake dessert! | easy no bake dessert! this is an easy and yummy strawberry cream cheese ice box cake! | By Kristin's | 18ounce package of cream cheese and to that I'm going to add one can of sweetened condensed milk this is a 14-ounce can it's a little bit thick but that's okay so I'm just going to get it out with my knife so 14 ounce can of sweetened condensed milk to 18 ounce package of room temperature cream cheese and if you all are like me and you forget to take your cream cheese out you just pop it in the microwave for about 30 seconds alright so get all this out Let's see. This is one of my new favorite desserts y'all. It's a no-baked dessert but you know what I really like doing lately. I should have thought about doing this in the summer when it's a million degrees outside and I gotta turn my oven on. That's alright. Alright. So now, we're going to mix this up until smooth. Alright, y'all. Once your condensed milk and your cream cheese is nicely blended. Next, we're going to add, oh I kind of like, oh, shouldn't this sit straight up? I guess it doesn't. Next, we going to add two packages of jello cheesecake instant pudding. Two packages, alright? I like at this point I might need a bigger bowl. I may have underestimated this but that's alright. We're going to see. Two packages of cheesecake instant pudding. Two. One, two. Get all of it out there. Yeah, we got it. We got it and then to that, we're going to add three cups of milk. You can use whole milk. You can use half and oh no, not, I mean, I guess you could use half and half. That might taste real good. Three cups of milk. I'm just going to put it all in. It's going to be real high. 2% is fine. Whatever you like. Uh I'm using here. I have 2% milk but you can use whatever you like, alright? Now, we're going to blend this on low. Next step here, we're going to fold in two cups Now, this recipe calls for cool whip but y'all be giving me a hard time, okay? So, what I did is I made my own whipped cream. Look at this. Actually, my husband Fred did it because he's real nice. He likes to help me out but this is fresh whipped cream y'all and it's real easy. You just take heavy whipping cream and you whip it and that's it. So, we're going to take two cups of homemade whipping cream and we're going to fold it into this mixture. Again, the recipe calls for cool whip but today y'all, I want, I want to make y'all happy, okay? Y'all be giving me a hard time about not doing homemade stuff. So, here we are. Half homemade, alright? Half homemade. What we have here we have nine by 13 what's this thing called aluminum thing whatever it's called you all know so what we going to do is we have we have graham crackers on the bottom alright so we're going to take half of this mixture so I'm just going to guess about half and we're just going to pour it on the bottom we're just going to pour it on our on our graham crackers just like so is that about half what do you think Bridget yeah that's about half alright see I need help I can't I can't judge it it's hard to tell how much half is y'all okay so we're just going to put this on the bottom we're going to spread this out and don't have to be y'all. It's going to set up real nice in the fridge. Even like that is good, alright? So now, we're going to do. Do you all know what I'm making here? This is a take on a traditional southern dessert. So, I'm so I'm sure some of y'all know it. I have two pounds of fresh strawberry here. Again, y'all, I want to make y'all happy so I use fresh strawberry. I even cut this by myself y'all. Labor intensive over here. So, we're going to take half of this. So, about a pound of fresh strawberry. I'm trying to figure out the easiest way to do this. So, now y'all if you want this to be real pretty. You can take all these pretty little slices and line em up but you know what? I I thought about doing that but I don't I don't think I feel like it. I'm just going to sprinkle this out. I'm going to take about I'm going to take half of these strawberry that I cut up. Again, fresh strawberry y'all. I use fresh strawberry. I think you can use frozen if you want but those have a lot of liquid so I don't know but I like using I like using the fresh. This smells so good already y'all. Alright. I see that about half. I think that's about half. Yeah. I think so. I I asked my friend Bridgeie for for some help because sometimes I can't tell. Alright, y'all. So, next step here, we're going to take some more of these graham crackers, alright? I'm sure, do you all know what I'm making yet? I want y'all If you know what I'm making, you tell me in the comments, okay? So, we're just going to line this up like so. Just like that y'all. You know what? We're going to do this. That's fine. That's fine. Stay upside down because this isn't even, this is just the middle layer, okay? This is the middle layer. That looks great and then oops, he's breaking. This going to be so good y'all. It's one of my favorite no bake desserts ever. It taste so good. It's pretty easy. It is a little labor intensive y'all but I'm I'm doing this for y'all. You said you want me to make homemade stuff so this is kind of homemade. I didn't make the graham crackers of course. That'd be too hard. Alright, so now what we're going to do here, we're going to take the rest of our mixture and we're going to just put it get my spatula. Oh my goodness. That's a lot. Thank you. I'm going to put all the rest of this mixture right on top of these graham crackers right on top y'all. Alright. We're going to spread this out real nice. Right on top of our graham crackers just like that. Nice layer. Okay. Ooh. I'm out of breath. This is this is a lot of work y'all. See this is how much I love y'all. I do this. I listen to you. I listen to y'all. You want me to make something more homemade and a little bit healthier. Now y'all not saying this is healthy but at least I use real cream to make my whipped cream and I have fresh strawberry, okay? So this is a pretty simple dessert. Ain't too bad for you. Alright. Cuz I want to make y'all happy, okay? That's what I'm trying to do over here. I'm trying to make y'all happy because I love y'all. Even even the ones who tell me to wear gloves at home. I I love you too, okay? I love all y'all. Alright. Alright, that's it. So, now our last step, we're going to take the rest of our strawberry and we're just going to put em right on top y'all. So, this is a take. This is a strawberry ice box cake. Alright, strawberry cream cheese ice box cake. That looks great. I guess I could've got some more strawberry but I'm I'm happy with this. I think it's fun. Actually, let me see. Have some. See how those look. Yeah, I have a few more right here. I'll take a few of these. Alright. Put a few more. These are whole frozen strawberry. I just had them thrown out in my sink but we'll just put a few more right on top. That looks good. Alright, y'all. So, we just going to pop this in the fridge and let it set up and I can't wait to show y'all this. It is so delicious. Alright, y'all. This has been in the fridge for a few hours. We have our strawberry cream cheese ice box cake. I know y'all from the south. No ice box cake but I kind of made a new version, alright? So, I mean, we just going to dig right here. I don't know. I'm going to try and cut it. I don't know if it really needs to be cut. That's a big slice but whatever. I'm going to I'm okay. We're just going to take some out of here. So, we just layered our graham crackers with our fresh strawberry and then our cream cheese mixture that also had the The pudding. The cheesecake pudding. Let me get this out of here. Alright. I'm trying. I'm just trying to get the whole thing so we can see all the layers. Oh my goodness y'all. Look at that. There we go. Hold on. Let me move this. Look at this. We got graham cracker, cream cheese pudding. We got strawberry, more graham cracker. Look at those layers. That looks so beautiful. Let me see here. Let me get this off. I'm excited to eat this y'all. It's going to be so good. Now, I think you can leave this in the fridge overnight too and it'll be amazing. Let's see here. Yes, it's real good. Alright. I'm going to eat some now. It's going to be so good. Man, I'm full. You know, y'all been trying desserts all day. One bite of this, one bite of that. My neighbors are going to really love me today because everything I'm making today is a win.
