Iced coffee with condensed milk
Good strong filter coffee + ice + condensed milk = Match made in heaven! You can choose how you would like to present it. Construct the whole thing and hand it to your guest ready to drink. This way you can add all the bells and whistles you'd like beforehand and make it look all the more impressive. Alternatively, let each guest add their own condensed milk to taste.
Apple crumble tart with coconut
Apple tart, but amplified! This apple crumble tart shines with the addition of desiccated coconut and one unexpected ingredient. Shall we call it a 'secret ingredient'? Drum roll...condensed milk. The condensed milk makes it creamy, rich, caramel-ley and oh so moreish. And unique.
Peppermint crisp tart
This delicious peppermint crisp tart is made with Aero mint and offers suggestions to using alternative biscuits other than traditional Tennis biscuits - ideal for the Saffa expats, or if you just feel like switching it up. You can of course still make it the traditional South African way with Nestle's Peppermint Crisp and Bakers' Tennis biscuits. Measurements and instructions for both options will be provided in the recipe.
Dark chocolate ice cream
Buckle up for an indulgently rich, creamy and intense dark chocolate ice cream experience! Laughably easy to make, doesn't require an ice cream maker and you only need four ingredients.
Condensed milk cookies
These rich condensed milk cookies are from a multi-award winning recipe that's been passed down the generations in our family. My mom won the very sought after 'special prize' at the South African version (the 'VLU') of the Women's Institute for these cookies. We all know how strict those WI judges can be! It's a plain biscuit, but that's part of their appeal. They're soft and chewy with a deep flavour from the condensed milk.
Coconut Ice
This is a very easy recipe for the classic pink and white sweets we all grew up to know as coconut ice. It only requires 3 ingredients with a little dash of food colouring. No cooking or baking involved and it comes together in no time. Best of all, it's homemade!

Easy marshmallow fridge tart
Fluffy, puffy, colourful and delicious. This fun marshmallow fridge tart has a filling of mini marshmallows, condensed milk and cream, resting on top of a ginger nut biscuit base.
