Darius Giurar is GYPSY MAMBA a first generation Romanian American born in CA, residing in Rancho Cucamonga. GM spent most of his childhood chasing making music without the means or backing to do so, church introduced him to playing Saxophone, then Guitar and lastly Piano before ending in dissatisfaction and mischievous repercussions. GM’s musical desires were rekindled thru the experiences of electronic music production/performances of artists at Low End Theory, Boom Box LA, More Fire, etc.…

Darius soon realized how simplified yet fulfilling electronic music production was and now had a means to an end!

A gifted laptop by his cousin opened the flood gates and drowned out excuses of not having the means to produce beats in the vein of those who inspired him, Dante Carfagna (Express Rising), RZA, Dibia$e, Pete Rock, Free the Robots, Pink Floyd, Animal Collective and Death Grips! His passion and dedication was the formula to talented production recognition and equated to performing at higher profile shows like the Beat Cinema and Low End Theory to name a few.

Darius’s now 5-year-old son is a key to his discipline in setting goals in life and thus far all have been conquered including tallying up a limited edition vinyl release of Return Of The Gypspy to be globally distributed along with the digital version too!
