TV show description:
A spin-off to Tyler Perry’s House of Payne, The Paynes TV show centers on Ella and Curtis Payne (Davis-Patton and Davis). He’s a somewhat brash, retired fire chief, while she’s a patient, long-suffering homemaker. Retirement isn’t all smooth sailing for them, and they experience plenty of lows along with the highs.
After a death in the family, Ella and Curtis travel to Florida, and Curtis ends up getting drawn into a real estate deal that shakes up their lives. Even at their age, they both have some life lessons to internalize. Still, they face each day with laughter and love.

I did not know about this spin- off. However I discovered it accidentally. Since I was a fan of THE HOUSE OF PAYNE, I was curious. My husband and I immediately was captivated. I watched at least 4 episodes a night! Only to discover while sitting on the edge of my seat as Terrance went after Kendrix, Last episode\ Last Season. “Please Sir, my I have some more?”

They are great to watch and get a good laugh. In my opinion they are funnier then Mr Brown. Don’t get me wrong I like to watch Mr Brown also.

I personally think that there should have a a bother season cos like I literally refused to watch any other show cos none of them are as satisfying as “The Paynes” and that’s an honest fact. Point blank period.
