TV show description:
Ashton Kutcher created this reality show and produces along with Jason Goldberg and Nick Santora. It’s billed as the “ultimate social experiment.” The premise typically pairs up beautiful young women with geeky young guys and puts them through challenges designed to test their skills and knowledge.
Mike Richards hosts the show, replacing Brian McFayden after the first season. He introduces the beauties to the geeks in the first episode in a variety of different ways, and they choose each other, either with beauties choosing geeks, or vice-versa. These are their partners throughout the rest of the show, sometimes even sharing a room together.
The beauties and geeks are put through challenges each episode, one testing the beauties academically, and the other testing the geeks in social situations, and help their partners prepare. The winners of the two challenges get to choose which two teams will face off at the end of the episode in the elimination round. Those facing elimination compete in a quiz style format, with beauty against beauty and geek against geek. The pair getting the least number of questions right leaves the show and is eliminated.
The beauty and geek couple that lasts to the end shares $250,000.
