TV show description:
Widower Dr. Andrew Brown (Treat Williams) leaves his successful life as a Manhattan neurosurgeon to start a new life in small town Everwood, Colorado.
Andy chose the community because of his late wife’s affection for it. While nine-year-old daughter Delia (Vivien Cardone) is happy about the change, 15-year-old son Ephram (Gregory Smith) isn’t so sure. Andy opens a new practice in town with the help of strong-willed nurse Edna Harper (Debra Mooney) — and to the annoyance of the town’s other physician, cranky Dr. Harold “Hal” Abbott, Jr. (Tom Amandes). At school, Ephram begins to fall for Amy (Emily VanCamp), Dr. Hal’s daughter.

With their house sold, Nina and Sam temporarily move in with the Browns. Before he can propose to Nina, Andy takes a mysterious trip to resolve something in his life. Bright learns that Hannah has received a scholarship to Notre Dame and is devastated at the thought that she may accept it. Edna upsets Harold and Rose when she reveals her plans to leave Everwood. Delia is thrilled with Andy’s belated Bat Mitzvah gift. When Amy tells her mother =that she plans to tell Ephram about her feelings for him, Rose steps up her game to compete for Ephram’s affections.

Got to agree with Ryan. I first saw this show in Cyprus on holiday and got really hooked. The main character, Andy Brown, is a hugely successful surgeon who lets his family and his wife pass him by until it is too late and his wife dies. Realising his mistake he throws himself into his family and the real commodity in life, people and friends. So what if the fact he does not charge is unfeasible? To the comment above me, Everwood is the best show ever. You need to like Drama Shows, and you also need to watch most of the episodes to actually like it.
Psh…this is the worst show ever created. who ever even watched it from beginning to end was retarted…I only watched it to laugh at how stupid it was. I mean come on…it’s so unrealistic. Andy Brown (Treat Williams) is the most ******* of a character ever. I mean really, he lives in a big city and is a famous doctor…then he gives it all up and moves to a small **** town and still continues to be a doctor but get this HE DOESN’T CHARGE! now who the **** would do that?
