Keen came to us wanting to leave the crystal balls behind and join the world of wellness tech. A category redefinition in a rebrand's clothing. Wellness design is minimal to the point of sterile, so we went maximalist. A rich, illustrated world that gives you the same perspective shift as talking to a psychic. From Mother Design in London.

Introducing KALLAX Storageborn, IKEA's solution to Skyrim's storage problem. Bad storage isn't only a real-world issue. Skyrim players have spent 15 years being slowed down by carrying too many items. The free downloadable Skyrim Creation transforms the iconic IKEA KALLAX shelving unit into a sentient companion character who organises your inventory, voiced by Matt Berry. Pssst…are you a fan of “weird”? The fringe of the Internet? The creators creating what you cannot stop watching? Or, maybe you’re a marketer yearning for your brand to lean more into the nuances of “weird”? If you’ll be in New York next Monday for Fast Company Innovation Festival, then you should swing by our office for a preview of our new research (in partnership with Nonfiction Research) presented by Omar El-Gammal & Chris Gallery

We asked Tremayne Gary and Sollin Sæle, Creatives at Mother, how they got an actual doctor to be involved in the Take a Knick Day campaign. “We found him one day before we had this idea, 24 hours before. And sometimes you just gotta do things, you know?” “It was honestly a case of just calling as many people as we know and just asking, do you know a doctor that's, like, currently free?” The duo also shared that the doctor has gotten more business because of the campaign. “He requested a reel from us with the material because he has now gotten more requests as the doctor on TV and film.” Full conversation in the comments below. Culture is pouring its attention into strange, vivid, unexpected creativity, while brands chase algorithms into a beige world of best practices. Why? We’ve spent over 4 months in the US & UK getting to the bottom of this question with the incredible people at Nonfiction. Take 2 minutes and vote for us to reveal it at SXSW for the first time in full form. This is 4 months of immersions and interviews, Dozens of artists, makers, and creators making what culture loves, Confessional interviews with dozens of marketing decision makers, And an in-depth quant survey of over 600 marketing leaders. What do the people winning attention understand that most marketers/agencies miss? You'll leave knowing what actually kills distinctive work inside organisations, what creators know that brands don't, and a practical path to making daring ideas commercially powerful. A work we’ve poured a lot of time and care into at Mother and Nonfiction Research. Go on, 2 minutes to send an Egyptian and Irishman to Austin. Link in the comments.
