Cheap and Easy Dinner Idea! Lentil Tacos
Save money on dinner with these tacos! 🌮 With inflation at the grocery store being incredibly high, I’m going to start focusing even more on some of my favorite low-cost recipes. Follow along! I got all my ingredients from Walmart, and here was the breakdown: Onion = $0.78 Garlic = $0.64 per head (I only used a couple cloves) Lentils (1 lb) = $1.92 Taco seasoning = $0.54 Corn tortilla = $1.88 (16-count) Roma tomato = $0.27 Cilantro (coriander) = $0.97 I also used optional vegetable broth instead of water. I used Better than Bouillon which I already had on-hand. It was originally $4.52 and has 38 servings, which came out to $0.11 for this recipe. If you want to make it a meal, you can add a can on black beans (which was $0.94), and the next recipe I’m posting is for Spanish rice!
