Whenever Athena does not have her staff an owl (fake or real) should be on the set, hiding amongst the trees or something. That way even if she is in a disguise the audience will know she is on stage. It will also show that her magic will never leave her.

The middle costume would be great for Athena. It really shows her fighting spirit and her battle stragety side. The outfit on the left will be used when she disguises her self as an old man. The one on the right can be used in the beginning when Athena is talking to Zeus.
