Giant, invasive predator Tiger Shrimp muscles in on the Gulf of Mexico. Native to Indo-Pacific, Asian and Australian waters, no one knows how it reached the Gulf - possibly whipped up in a hurricane or escapees from captivity in South Carolina. Weighing up to a pound and reaching the length of a forearm, it looks like they're settled in the Gulf and though they are apparently tasty, there are obvious worries about their impact on the unique ecosystem of the area.
