"All is One, One is All." --Sengstan Contemplative practice is a process of inner transformation that leads to an awareness of how everything is interconnected. It is an experiential realization that we are connected with others and with God, in whom we live and move and have our being (Acts 17:28). During this contemplative process, our view of reality changes. A shift of consciousness occurs, changing the way we perceive the world and relate to people.
What Type of Kindness Do You Possess?
Coming from a family proactive in helping others. My Mom has always volunteered for things like being a crisis responder in our area and helping at the local hospice. She loves handing out extra change to homeless people when I was in Srilanka, something she always taught my sister and I to do. Every Christmas we adopt a family in need - it feels amazing knowing you're helping make a kids Christmas wish come true, and also taking away the stress from a family that really needs the help.
