This large bench swing is great for porches or other outdoor areas. The X details on the back, as well as the reclaimed wood, look great in farmhouse, rustic and coastal decor themes. The swing is finished with outdoor varnish to give it extra life. SIZE The finished bench swing is 50" long x 21" deep x 18.5" tall. The overall width including eye hooks is 53". The cushions and pillows are NOT included but it is designed to fit a standard 46" x 19" bench cushion. WEIGHT LIMIT: We don't have a guaranteed weight limit for these since installation factors out of our control will affect strength. However, concerning the various parts/hardware that are used in the swing, it is recommended to keep the weight below 560 lbs. ROPE OPTIONS / LENGTH & INSTALLATION The rope is available in natural fiber manila OR synthetic promanila rope. The look of the rope is similar (see photo). The natural fiber manila rope is made from the Abaca plant and tends to be environmentally friendly and can't be beat for it's great rustic look. The promanila rope has the benefit of being smoother and resists mildew, rot and shrink better than natural manila rope. It should last roughly 3 times longer than the manila rope. Unless you specify otherwise, this swing comes enough rope for up to a 9 ft ceiling/tree limb (assuming the swing will be 21" off the ground). It can be adjusted for shorter ceilings/limbs. If you need more rope, please include a note in your order. We include eye hooks and instructions for installing your swing.
