how i draw head n face by =nominee84 on deviantART <<< I usually start mine with a circle because no matter what position the head is in the circle will always be correct. I but this person is a little better than me so I dunno :/ I guess it just matter on what works for you I just know most really good artists use a circle. I would suggest trying both and see which you like better :)
