SANYO MCD-V199M Cd Radio Cassette Player Karaoke W/MP3
The classic boombox... but with a twist. Plays CDs and MP3-CDs as well. And bought this in 2017 second-hand, and not exactly the same color or model. Hoped to have gotten a SONY (which is easier on the eyes), but SaNYO will do.... :D

Car MP3 CD Player. "Daddy, what's a CD?" I forgot now what brand and model exactly we got. But it had a security feature that auto-hides itself whenever you power down the car.
a purple floppy drive sitting on top of a white surface
Iomega Zip Drive - Connect to your computer's parallel port (what's that?) and use 100Mb Zip Disks to store your MP3s and everything else under 100Mb. Watch out for the "Click of Death" though.
an old computer with a keyboard and monitor on it's side, sitting next to each other
An ATT XT 6300 PC. Or something like that. Anyway, the very first PC we ever owned at home was a second-hand ATT XT PC, running some version of DOS. I remember I wrote a BASIC program to create a menu-based user interface, that also included a contact list app. Yeah, all in Green and Black. Those were the days. The next PC we got already had Windows, internet connectivity, a 3.5" floppy drive, and a CD-ROM drive, ca. 1995. [I just discovered, Pinterest can't recognize ampersands!???]

an old fashioned black telephone on a white sheet
This should have been in the Phones board, but that's all mobile. And this isn't probably exactly what we had, but you get the idea. Of course, we've had touch-tone phones after this and until today but they're not so cool to feature on Pinterest. :D
