Thanks for this lovely and weird journey! Vanishing Twin have developed their concept and sound somewehere betweeen Broadcast and Stereolab's experimental approaches - yet sounding unmistakable like Vanishing Twin! One of my favorite contemporary music groups. Keep making the music and I shall keep listening to it <3
Vanishing Twin's expansive and magical psychedelic epic, Tell Me Not Here was initially commissioned by The Quietus before being released as part of The state51 Conspiracy's Singularity Series in April 2023.
With lyrics adapted from A.E. Housman’s 1922 poem, ‘Tell Me Not Here, It Needs Not Saying’, Vanishing Twin fly deeper into their sonic universe, blending elements from an improvisational session, raw recordings of the natural world, and poetry to create sublime, cosmic pop. This twenty-minute piece has embellishments of sparkling synth and lyrical vignettes that are reminiscent of English folk melodies.

The befriended musician band of mine Rainbow Blood, showed me Age of Imunology, which dig deeply my soul.
On Afternoon X:
Drums are perfect, tight & drivefull.Bass well placed on the tracks.Vocals are warm, haunting & hypnotizing.
The Album is also my 2nd favorite one, but subito and the line "What are we waiting
What are we waiting for?" was so well placed here with the reverb of the vocals. The perfect final track and I'm glad my friends showed this jewel :)

Vanishing Twin. A gem of a band. Alluring rhythms. Mysterious melodies. Beautiful instrumentation. Sophisticated arrangements. Speaks to bands I have loved, Stereolab & Broadcast, but completely in its own musical language and artistic mythology. As soon as I heard one song, I needed to hear them all. Stephen Latty
