Director-led generation
Build ads, music videos, short films, keyframes, and custom ComfyUI workflows with project-aware prompts and references.
AI-native video editing
Generate shots, shape edits, inspect sequences, and finish AI-assisted video work inside a real creative timeline.
Velorn is the next chapter of ComfyStudio. Same open-source spirit, cleaner production workflow, and a growing MCP layer for serious agent-assisted editing.
Lightweight model launchers are great for one-off clips. Velorn is built for the whole production flow: direction, generation, asset management, timeline editing, polish, and final delivery.
Build ads, music videos, short films, keyframes, and custom ComfyUI workflows with project-aware prompts and references.
Trim, move, layer, caption, add effects, organize assets, and keep AI outputs attached to the edit instead of scattered across folders.
Let connected agents inspect projects, preview timeline edits, prepare generation, add graphics, check media, and help package delivery exports.
Velorn keeps the creative system visible: what generated the shot, where it landed, how it fits the sequence, and what still needs to be fixed before delivery.
Work from lyric timing, cast references, style direction, and shot coverage into generated clips and timeline structure.
Turn product details, audience, offer, proof, and call-to-action into editable scripts, keyframes, clips, and reviewable sequences.
Keep your own ComfyUI graphs and endpoint nodes while Velorn handles injection, queueing, importing, and project organization.

Velorn is in active development, but the release path is public and the project is open source.
Yes. Velorn is the new product name for the app formerly known as ComfyStudio. The rename gives the project a cleaner identity, while older file formats, workflows, and compatibility aliases continue to be supported where needed.
Yes for local generation. ComfyUI is the backend; Velorn is the production layer around it. Velorn talks to a local ComfyUI server, can help launch it, and can also use cloud/API workflows when local hardware is not enough.
Connected MCP clients can inspect projects, review timeline frames, preview safe edits, prepare generation from selected clips, add graphics, check media health, and help with export readiness.
Generated media is imported into the current Velorn project so you can organize, edit, review, and export without chasing files across ComfyUI output folders.
