Dudhi Chana ni Dal is a simple dish prepared with Lauki also called bottle gourd and Split bengal gram. I love the bite in every piece of chana ni dal along with soft dudhi. The sweet, tangy and spicy flavor of the dal is perfect when paired along with rice or rotli. It is a one pot meal and well balanced.

Hi, love your recipes! Keep ‘em coming 🙂
One question- are these the exact spices measurements you’re using? The spices in the pic above seem to be substantially more? Looking at red chili looks way more than 1.5 teaspoon, turmeric seems waaay more than 1/4 teaspoon as does jaggery which looks more like 2-2.5 tablespoons.
Just wanted to confirm so that it turns out right.
Pls let me know. Thx.

Hi Meghna, Yes the quantities are exact and measured. The picture was taken when I measured exact quantities. It may seem more because of photography or illusion but follow the exact recipe. Thank you for all the love
If I can’t get Dudhi could green zucchini in the same quantity work?
