Aside from unveiling the gorgeous Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5, Samsung has also unveiled the Galaxy Tab S9 series. I am calling it a series because we are getting three variants, and guess what? All of them are just as good, so even if you decide to go for the base variant, you will not lose anything and will still get an excellent offering for your money.
The Galaxy Tab S9 series can easily double up as laptops if you want to, thanks to its stunning design and powerful hardware
This time, you are getting three variants: the Galaxy Tab S9, the Plus variant, and the Ultra variant for those looking for no compromises. The screen size is different, but all devices offer the same 60-120Hz refresh rate. The base variant comes at an 11-inch screen size, plus the variant extends to a 12.4-inch, and the Ultra variant comes with a 14.6-inch screen. All tablets are available in Wi-Fi variants as well as 5G variants for those who are looking for something different.
Coming back to the cameras, the Galaxy Tab S9 has a 13-megapixel rear camera and a 12-megapixel ultrawide camera. The Plus variant adds an 8-megapixel rear camera on the back, and the Ultra variant has the same camera system on the back as the Plus variant but uses an additional 12-megapixel ultra-wide sensor on the back.
The Galaxy Tab S9 series is an absolute powerhouse in terms of storage and memory. The base variant comes in 8/128GB or 12/256GB configuration. The Plus variant comes in 12/256GB and 12/512GB configurations, and the Ultra variant comes in 12/256GB, 12/512GB, 16 gigs of RAM, and 1TB of storage. All three devices also have full support for microSD expansion if you want to go for that. All models are powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy, and providing power to the devices are 8,400 mAh, 10,090 mAh, and 11,200 mAh batteries, respectively.
The Galaxy Tab S9 series is available only in Beight and Graphite colorways, offers four stereo speakers, Fingerprint On Display, S Pen support, as well as support for Book Cover Keyboard and Book Cover Keyboard Slip for those who want to make sure that they can use their tablets as computers.
Moving onto the pricing, the Galaxy Tab S9 starts at $799 for the base variant, $999 for the Plus variant, and the Ultra variant can be yours for $1,199. These prices are for base variants without cellular connectivity. Preorders will go live today for these tablets, with devices available to purchase starting 11th August.
