On the heels of his standout lead single, CHOZEN returns to WAKAAN with his full EP, Grounded By The Bass, dropping Tuesday, July 15th on all streaming platforms. An introspective and undeniably heavy three-track collection, the mission statement remains the same – blurring the lines between a mindful release and head-knocking bass music, and showcasing CHOZEN’s commitment to creating music that hits just as hard emotionally as it does sonically.
Leading the charge is title track “Grounded By The Bass” featuring Def3, introducing listeners to the EP’s central theme: finding clarity and connection through sound. Equal parts weird, wobbly, and fun, the deep, experimental bass “Contact” follows suit, brought to a finish with high-octane “Heat Ray,” featuring collaborator Mind Splitter. Together, the body of work channels CHOZEN’s love for left field dubstep with an otherworldly twist.
