Necron Dynasty - Imotekh the Stormlord

"Order. Unity. Obedience. We taught the galaxy these things long ago, and we will do so again."
- Imotekh the Stormlord

Hello all, thanks for dropping by, a great addition to the ever-awakening Tomb World Dynasty, a main character, Imotekh the Stormlord. New and improved since the first iteration I painted in finecast back in 2014 HERE.
Imotekh, also known as Imotekh the Stormlord or simply the Stormlord, is the phaeron of the Sautekh Dynasty and perhaps the strongest and most accomplished Necron Overlord in the galaxy with the exception of perhaps the Silent King at the end of the 41st Millennium.
I painted the cloak blue as before but added some bling with the application of Greenstuff World Cobalt Blue colourshift paint. This gives an other-worldly metallic appearance, picking out the scarabs onboard for a ride.
Imotekh's Staff is the usual gauss energy reds and oranges, and befitting of his high status his scheme includes a lot of gold and blue.
"Let me tell you of my future. My hand will reach out into the stars, reshaping the galaxy into a place of order and unity. Under my reign, the kingdoms of old shall live again, reborn to an age of power and glory the like of which you can only imagine. I will rule every planet touched by the light of this star and, even in the darkness beyond, my name will be whispered with fear and respect."
Imotekh the Stormlord to Eldorath Starbane, in the wake of the Siege of Somonor

Necron Dynasty - Canoptek Doomstalker #2

Hello all, thanks for dropping by. These are just too good to have only one, so I have a second one added to the force, a cheap eBay rescue and repaint. It had armour plates attached backwards so bidding kept low - a twist and a re-glue later, a perfect model.
I've painted the legs basic silvers to make a difference from the first construct.
The basic base was used, unlike the first with a SM casualty. Again, slight differences to make both unique.
Nice to have some heavy hitting anit-tank for the Necron Dynasty as I never got around to building a Doomsday Ark, just after the Ghost Ark I couldn't face all that line highlighting again, so these are great simple constructs.
Rather War of the Worlds vibe...

Necron Dynasty - Szarekh, The Silent King

Hello All, thanks for dropping by. In the absence of Lord TITANium's usual Friday posts, I'll post some new additions to the Necron Dynasty - but only commissioned by me and painted by the commission service Painted Figs.com. I am not affiliated with them and paid for this, so its an honest recommendation!
Fabulous addition, really love the paint scheme they have achieved from my notes, included samples of my own Necrons and photos. This is the second time I have used Painted Figs.com, both times really reliable, great communications and fair price.
Based in Sri Lanka and intermediary in USA, I boxed up the sprues and instructions along with a few samples to match my existing forces and sent to USA. From there they are checked, shipped in bulk to Sri Lanka for the team to do its work - again I was not disappointed! Great work team!
At my own request, I just need to finish the bases with my own flock mix and a few tufts and these are ready to go! This was the Showcase quality so mid-tier priced, they also do Exhibition Quality.
I love the almost understated Silent King with his oversized cloak and huge floating throne!
This poor unfortunate shackled C'tan doesn't look like he is enjoying it :/

Necron Dynasty - Catacomb Command Barge

Hello Readers, thanks for dropping by. The latest addition that has awakened from its slumber for the Necron Dynasty is a Catacomb Command Barge. A bit of an odd vehicle, lacklustre firepower but the Overlord riding the Barge can use its close combat weapon in melee, (in 9th which I play).
This has a rather rapid movement so can keep up with Wraiths and Tomb Blades and that's where I think it can be of use as it buffs nearby units. So +1 to Advance, Charge and To-Hit so this will benefit these units up the table.
The Overlord can also be upgraded to carry a Resurrection Orb so can add wounds back in to those upthreat units too. I will upgrade for a Res Orb and Warscythe - this will mean it will add some punch too.
Defo not an auto include, in 9th or 10th, but a nice model I have had since first release back in 2011 which I've finally gotten around to completing! ;)

Necron Dynasty - Chronomancer Cryptek

Hello All, thanks for dropping by. The latest addition to the Necron Dynasty is a Chronomancer Cryptek, armed with Aeonstave.
I love the dendrites and how one is wrapping around the Aeonstave. His whole lower body consists of these, not too dissimilar from an octopus i guess.
The Aeonstave is not much but decent enough, in game the real bonus is in 9th, he can be a Cryptek with Cronomatron, a device confers a 5++, or in 10th, the squad he is attached to hits boons and the Cryptek confers move-shoot-move to the Unit and he wears a Timesplitter Mantle giving a to-hit bonus.
A nice addition to the ever growing Necron Tomb

Necron Dynasty - Overlord with Translocation Shroud

Hello all, the latest addition to the growing Tomb World is a Necron Overlord with a Translocation Shroud. He's depicted phasing through space itself, and portions of his body and wargear are already dematerialised into streamers of energy that swirl around him. One of his folded arms carries a deadly hyperphase blade, while the other clutches a resurrection orb. His metallic body is covered in Necrontyr glyphs, as well as mechanical details such as the power nodes that fuel the translocation shroud.
Here you can see the phased portions of his legs missing, its a great sculpt from GW, and fun to paint. I chose a Ulthuan Grey base and washed it with Magos Purple Contrast, and Shylish Purple on the extremes giving the multi-tonal purples of the translocation energies. In his hand is the teal coloured resurrection orb.
The Hyperphase energy of the blades and orbs was my usual reds, they contrast well with the blue armour.
A colourful HQ choice. Love this mini.
Here the Overlord is with the other Dynastic leadership.

Necron Dynasty - Destroyer Cult Re-Based

Hello Overlords, since the Lokhust Heavy Destroyers came out, the change of base from the clear flying stands to the terrain bases is something I liked a lot. So, I made plans to change the entire Destroyer Cult to the new style bases. They look much better together with the terrain bases.
Here is a Destroyer, a Heavy Lokhust Destroyer and a Destroyer Lord for comparison.
The original Lokhust Heavy Destroyers were conversions, and the Destroyer Lord.
Three Lokhust Destroyers
Three more Lokhust Destroyers
And the final three.

Thanks for dropping by. Cheers, Siph

Necron Dynasty - Ophydian Destroyers w/ Plasmacyte

Hello All, thanks for dropping by. The latest addition to the Dynasty is a squad of Ophydian Destroyers.
Ophydian Destroyers echo elements of servile Canoptek Wraiths and reviled Flayed Ones in their murder-optimised bodies. Tunnelling through solid ferrocrete with frenzied violence and flickers of dimensional displacement, they burst into view to ambush, hack and rend their prey apart.
These are armed with Hyperphase Weapons and Ophydian Claws, the recent rules changes streamlined these to just Hyperphase Weapons rather than 3 profiles on the box.
The other rule they have is they can use Tunneling Horrors, basically if not in combat, they can move off the battlefield and reappear next turn 9in away from enemy.
The Plasmacyte gives the squad Devastating Wounds once per battle with no drawback they used to have.

Cheers, thanks for dropping by. Siph (7pts)

Necron Dynasty - Orikan the Diviner

"Time is a weapon like any other. If nothing else, I can simply wait for my foes to rot!"
— Orikan the Diviner
Hello Readers, thanks for dropping by. The latest character to be added to my Unnamed Necron Dynasty is Orikan the Diviner, a powerful Cryptek Chronomancer who has a masterful insight into time itself.
Orikan the Diviner, is one of the most powerful of the Necron Crypteks, and is a potent chronomancer. Millions of Terran years ago, he was the astromancer of the Necrontyr empire's ruling Triarch, and one of the Silent King Szarekh's most trusted counsellors.
Orikan was the only one to then oppose the proposal of the C'tan Mephet'ran the Deceiver to grant the Necrontyr immortality through the process of biotransference, as he foresaw it would end in disaster, but his lone voice of dissent was ignored by the Triarch. Driven by loyalty to his race, Orikan submitted to the process and became one of the undying Necrons, forever undying and soulless in an android body of living metal.
Despite the loss of his soul, the biotransference procedure had an unexpected bonus for Orikan, as his already considerable powers have only expanded after he was freed from the limitations of fallible flesh. In the 41st Millenium, Orikan's mastery over the flow of time is such that he can actually "walk back" into the past in a limited manner, just enough to ensure his predictions never go awry.

Cheers, Overlord Siph (10pts)
