Kruellagh
Kruellagh is the Archon of the The Emasculators, a pirate warband affiliated with the Kabal of the Flayed Skull.[2] She was first encountered by the Imperium of Man on 6129967.M38. She is usually referred to as Kruellagh the Vile although she is known by many other aliases, such as "The Mistress of Skulls", "The Emasculator", "Da Skinna" (by the Orks), and "Mistress Hell Fury".[1]
Overview
Kruellagh is the Archon of a pirate band called The Emasculators. The warband, part of the Kabal of the Flayed Skull, consists of about one hundred warriors dominated by the females, and is known for its extreme cruelty; it is feared in the Lestos and Thrandos Sectors and sought by Imperial authorities for numerous raids and atrocities.[2]
A tax or tithe, often in the form of slaves or souls, is required from these bands for the Lord of their Kabal, which are then refined by the Haemonculi.[2]
Equipment
Kruellagh has a few pieces of equipment customized to suit her combat style and purpose.[1]
Soul Flayer
The Soul Flayer is Kruellagh's primary weapon, and the source of most stories about her. It is composed of a pair of two extremely sharp spikes that extend out from her palm. The spikes house tubes through which the victim's vital fluids are drained directly into Kruellagh, energising her, making her stronger and faster with each kill.[1][2]
Damnation Grenades
Kruellagh carries a terrorfex into combat with her, along with specially crafted Damnation grenades which she occasionally uses in place of a terrorfex's primary ammunition. Damnation grenades do cause significant damage to their target, unlike the standard issue wraithbone grenades.[1][2]

Trivia
- Name
Kruellagh's name is reminiscent of Cruella de Vil, the villainess of the Disney film 101 Dalmatians. The two characters also wear similar colours.
