About Marble
What is Marble?
Marble is an interactive learning world for kids aged 6 to 12, designed to nurture their curiosity and grow their self-confidence. It's 100 kids' apps in one game that can connect the dots in a safe place: drawing, homework, languages, stories, quizzes, and characters who talk back. Underneath, our system adapts each session to your child and lines it up with a robust curriculum. The point is screen time that leaves them more curious than it found them.
What ages is Marble for?
Kids aged 6 to 12, roughly Kindergarten to 5th grade in the US and Year 1 to Year 6 in the UK. It adapts as they grow, so a 7-year-old and an 11-year-old will have a different experience of Marble.
What can my child do in Marble?
A lot, and it shifts with whatever they're into. Draw and animate, get homework unstuck, practice a language, write stories, take quizzes, talk with characters, or just follow a question wherever it goes. It's one world, not a folder full of separate apps.
How is Marble different from YouTube, games or other kids' apps?
YouTube will happily autoplay your child into next week. Marble asks questions back. No feed, no ads, no endless rabbit hole, just a world that does something when your child pokes it. Keeping kids quiet is easy. We're after curious.
Learning, homework and homeschooling
Is Marble a good learning app for kids?
Marble is built to grow curiosity and confidence, not just fill time. It follows what your child is into and uses those moments to teach something real, mapped to an actual curriculum, without it ever feeling like school. Marble is developed in collaboration with researchers and educators from Stanford Graduate School of Education, MIT, DeepMind and more.
Can Marble help with homework?
Yes. Marble works through it with your child step by step, explaining the why instead of just handing over the answer. They come out understanding it, which is the part that sticks.
Is Marble good for homeschooling?
Yes. Marble keeps a live map of what your child knows across a real curriculum and works just past their edge, which makes it a solid fit for homeschooling, or for enrichment alongside school. As a parent, you can also provide input to help steer topics and level.
Is Marble aligned to a school curriculum?
Yes. Marble maps your child's progress against real US and UK curricula in math and English, so activities reinforce what matters at their level instead of landing at random.
Will my child actually learn, or just play?
Both, on purpose. The goal is a safe playground built to spark your child's curiosity. When a spark shows up, Marble follows it and uses the moment to teach something real, in real time, always aiming just past what they've already got. To them it feels like play. The learning is the part they don't notice.
How it works
What AI models does Marble use?
We use the best model for each job, not one model for everything. The main brain is Claude Haiku, from Anthropic. Speechmatics turns your child's speech into text, ElevenLabs gives the characters their voices, fal.ai handles drawing, and Google Cloud Vision screens every image. How do you test the models for safety?
Before any model goes near Marble we benchmark it for safety, and we re-benchmark every time a new one ships so we run the safest option, not just the newest. On top of the automated safety checks, real people on our team review sessions every day, catching anything the machines miss.
Safety and privacy
Is AI safe for kids on Marble?
Safety isn't one filter, it's many, working independently, mildly paranoid on your behalf. Every image is scanned, and every sentence and activity clears a safety check before your child sees it. We test it against the most robust safety benchmarks out there, including Korabench, the first AI benchmark for kids' safety. Only a parent can set up a child's account. We're early, but we take safety extremely seriously.
Does Marble record my child?
No. Marble does not record your child by default. It listens in the moment so it can respond, the way a voice assistant does, then lets that go. The conversation is never sold, never used for ads, and never used to train AI unless a parent explicitly opts in. You stay in control, and the full detail is in our Privacy Policy.
Do your team's kids use Marble?
Yes, they test it and use it every day 🙂 They give us so many ideas it could fill a product roadmap for the next 10 years. We're on it.
Can I see what my child is doing?
Yes. Every day you get a short note on what your child got into and where their curiosity is heading, so you're never guessing what happened on the screen. You stay close to what they're exploring, without prying into their privacy.

How much does Marble cost?
Marble is in private beta right now. Pricing is on the way, and beta families will hear it from us directly before anything changes. Joining the beta gets you in early either way.
How do I get access to Marble?
Marble is in private beta, opening to a few hundred families per day. Add your name to the waitlist and we'll be in touch as we open more spots.
