Official data showed gross domestic product in the world’s second-largest economy expanded 4.3% from a year ago in the April-June quarter, slowing from 5.0% in the prior quarter ... .
The 4.3% year-on-year expansion reported by the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) for April-June, was short of the 4.5% forecast in an AFP survey of economists and the slowest growth since the fourth quarter of 2022.
