Laura Kirk

Laura Ellen Kirk (born 1966 in Lecompton, Kansas) is an American actress and university professor.

Kirk is best known to fans as Lisa Picard from the 2000 movie Lisa Picard is Famous having co-written the story with friend Nat DeWolf.

A graduate of the University of Kansas in Lawrence, Kansas, Kirk most recently played Shelia Denning in the made-for-TV movie, A Boyfriend for Christmas as well as a guest on the television series House. Laura has a Bacon number of 2. She was in Lisa Picard is Famous with Sandra Bullock who was in Loverboy with Bacon.

Since 2010 Kirk has served on the faculty of the University of Kansas in the Film and Media Department.
