AnkaraAirport opened in the Turkish capital on Monday ahead of the NATO leaders’ summit set to be held in the city on July 7-8, with PresidentRecep Tayyip Erdogan saying the new transport links will provide direct access for visiting delegations.
A total of 70,000 personnel, including 55,000 police officers and gendarmerie forces, will be deployed as part of extensive security measures for the 36th NATOSummit to be held in Ankara on July 7-8.
