MICAT 2026 Exam Overview

The MICAT 2026 exam is expected to take place in the second week of December 2025. Compared to other MBA entrance exams, MICAT is somewhat different. You will be tested in three distinct areas: a Psychometric Test, a Descriptive Test, and an Aptitude Test. Altogether, you will need to answer 234 questions in 135 minutes. Regarding scoring, Section C awards you 1 mark for each correct answer, but an incorrect answer will deduct 0.25 marks. You will require a different approach to prepare for MICAT than for any other MBA exam. Since it includes psychometric and descriptive sections, your preparation must go beyond just logical reasoning and quantitative practice.

If you are considering pursuing an MBA with a specialisation in marketing, the Mudra Institute of Communication in Ahmedabad, commonly known as MICA Ahmedabad, should be on your list. This institute is highly regarded by marketing enthusiasts and is especially recognised for its branding and marketing communication programs. To gain admission to MICA, you need to take the MICAT, which is the MICA Admission Test. It is conducted in two rounds each year, and both rounds are equally valid for admissions. In addition to MICAT, other significant entrance exams, such as CAT, XAT, or GMAT scores, are also considered, as long as they meet MICA's cutoff standards. Read below to learn everything about the MICAT 2026 exam.
