Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (JKBOPEE) conducts a state-level entrance exam every year commonly known as the JKCET exam. Jammu & Kashmir Common Entrance Test (JKCET) exam is conducted for the candidates striving for admission into the BE/BTech programme. Candidates qualifying for the JKCET 2025 exam will be granted admission to the government and private colleges of Jammu and Kashmir to pursue their preferred courses. All the eligible candidates can choose to pursue any of the BE/BTech streams like Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Information Technology, etc. JKCET 2025 exam is scheduled to be conducted on April 12, 2025.

JKCET 2025 Exam Overview

The JKCET 2025 exam will be conducted in offline (pen-paper) mode. Whereas the application process will be carried out online. As per sources, JKCET 2025 exam will be accepted by 6 recognized institutions across the state of Jammu and Kashmir.

JKCET 2025 Exam Date

The JKBOPEE (Jammu & Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examination) has released an official notification regarding the JKCET 2025 Exam date. As per it, the Jammu & Kashmir Common Entrance Test [JKCET] 2025 will be conducted on April 12, 2025. The exam will be held in offline pen and paper mode. All the candidates who have successfully registered themselves for the JKCET 2025 can access their JKCET 2025 Admit cards by visiting the official website www.jkbopee.gov.in.

JKCET 2025 Application Form

Candidates willing to appear for the Jammu and Kashmir Common Entrance Test have to fill out the application form. Only the eligible candidates must fill out the application form as the non-eligible ones are liable for rejection. It is also recommended that the applicants read the instructions very carefully before filling out the application form. The candidature of those candidates, who submit incorrect/wrong information during the online submission of the application form, shall be liable to be rejected without any further notice to such candidates.

JKCET 2025 Application Fee

JKCET 2025 Application Fee to be paid by all the applicants is Rs. 1200. Candidates have to pay the fee online mode only.  For online payment, gateways such as credit cards, debit cards, and Net Banking can be used for the transaction. The final registration process will only be complete after the successful payment of the JKCET 2025 Application Fee. The fee once paid will not be refunded under any circumstance.

Steps to fill the JKCET 2025 Application Form

Candidates must fill out the JKCET 2025 Application form very carefully. The exam board will not provide editing facilities for the applicants. Follow the steps given below to fill out the application form easily.

Step 1 - Visit the official website at www.jkbopee.gov.in or click on the link given above.

Step 2 - On the Homepage, click on the “Click here to fill application” Link.

Step 3 - Fill in all the required details such as name, email address, and mobile number, and generate a password.

Step 4 - On successful registration the application number will be sent to the candidate’s registered email address and mobile number.

Step 5 - Candidates can now proceed to fill out the JKCET 2025 Application form. Fill in the details such as personal. academic and communication details.

Step 6 - After filling out the application form, candidates will be directed to the payment window.

Step 7 - Choose your preferred payment gateway and make the payment of Rs. 1200.

Step 8 - Only after successful payment candidates will be asked to upload the documents.

Step 9 - Upload the required documents such as a photograph, signature, and thumb impression along with other certificates in the specified format.

Step 10 - Lastly, verify all the details entered and submit the JKCET 2025 Application Form. Candidates must also take a printout of the application form for future reference.

JKCET 2025 Exam Pattern

The JKCET 2025 exam pattern is decided by the exam conducting board. The exam will be conducted in offline (pen-paper) mode. The appearing candidates will get 3 hours to attempt the paper and the medium of the paper will be English. JKCET 2025 exam will consist of a total of 180 MCQ questions. The paper will be divided into 3 sections containing 60 questions each.

1. 1 mark will be rewarded for a correct answer.
2. 0.25 mark will be deducted for a wrong answer.

JKCET 2025 Syllabus

The JKCET syllabus 2025 is prescribed by the exam board and will be released online. The subjects and important topics to be studied for the upcoming entrance exam will be discussed in the JKCET 2025 syllabus. Candidates must check and refer to the syllabus while preparing for the exam. JKCET 2025 Admit Card

Candidates who have registered for the JKCET 2025 exam will only be able to download their admit cards from the official website www.jkbopee.gov.in. The JKCET Admit Card 2025 consists of all the important exam-related details such as the candidate's name, roll number, photograph, signature, and some exam day guidelines.  Candidates must not forget to carry their admit cards with them to the exam hall as they will not be allowed to appear without them. Hence, download and take a print-out of the admit card as soon as it is released to carry it on the exam day.

JKCET 2025 Answer Key

JKCET Answer Key 2025 is expected to be released in the month of May 2025 by the JKBOPEE (Jammu & Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examination) at its official website. Candidates will be able to access the answer keys online from the official website of the Jammu and Kashmir Board. Students will be required to use their login credentials to download the answer keys. The JKCET 2025 Answer Key consists of all the correct responses to the questions asked in the exam. Students will be able to predict their probable scores with the help of the answer keys. The official authorities also provided the answer key challenging facility to the students. JKCET 2025 Result

The JKBOPEE (Jammu & Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examination) will make an official announcement of the results for the Jammu & Kashmir Common Entrance Test 2025 [JKCET] soon after the completion of the exam.
