Great birthday present for the Peppa pig fan. My son loved it to bits. Not only does it play the birthday tune (which lights up the candles), but you can blow the candles out like on a real cake. Genius! The story isn't bad either but the interest was more on blowing out the candles. A must for any birthday child.

    I bought this while out one day for my daughter from a well known book store. She absolutely loved it! I looked online to buy it again for my nephews birthday. Amazon have it at a great price! The book is really fun for little ones. I don’t really get reading the story mind you but my daughter loves pressing the happy birthday button to hear the music and see the candles light up and then blowing on them and they go out!! Just like a real birthday cake! Not sure how long the batteries will last but it keeps her amused. There’s not many pages in this book maybe 4 or 5. The size is mainly down to the hard back containing the sounds and lights. It looks like it could be easily ripped apart but hopefully my daughter or nephew won’t do this. Over all a very lovely book and will keep your little one very amused! Would recommend it!

    My daughter loves this book! She gets so excited blowing the front of the book to blow the candles out, and pressing the button repeatedly to hear the the tune, no matter how annoying it gets. She is 5 and she can just about read the book as its large letters and easy for children to read it. Its printed well, each page is like thick hard cardboard. The price is very reasonable and the novelty is yet to wear off for her. I would thoroughly recommend this book to others.

    Bought for my daughter's third birthday. It's a lovely book, with a great concept. The reality for us though, was that it's very tricky to activate the music and lights; little one can't do it and the six-year-old sometimes can. The pressure point is very specific, and doesn't always seem to be quite the same! That said, once activated, it's 'magical' to seemingly be able to blow out the candles; both kiddos loved it - as did the friends that watched in disbelief! We didn't have any issues with music or lights not working - just tricky to get it working in the first place.
    Not a Covid-friendly book though, what with all the blowing on the pages!
