Post-hardcore supergroup L.S. Dunes are known for their defiant and anthemic punk-infused sound. They released their debut album, Past Lives, in 2022.

Formed in 2020, L.S. Dunes features Circa Survive, Saosin, and the Sound of Animals Fighting vocalist Anthony Green, My Chemical Romance guitarist Frank Iero, Coheed and Cambria guitarist Travis Stever, along with bassist Tim Payne and drummer Tucker Rule of Thursday. Initially, the idea for the band came together while Thursday bandmates Payne and Rule were rehearsing for a 2020 holiday livestream. In fact, they recorded numerous instrumental tracks before solidifying the lineup around Green, who had been looking to collaborate on a project.

L.S. Dunes made their live debut at the September 2022 Riot Fest in Chicago's Douglass Park. More live shows followed, as did other singles like "2022," "Permanent Rebellion," and "Bombsquad," the latter of which was inspired by the events of the January 6, 2021 attack on the United States Capitol. In November 2022, they released their debut full-length, the Will Yip-produced Past Lives. ~ Matt Collar
