This is sturdy and good-looking as cat scratchers go, and my cat now scratches it instead of my sofa. Also, it’s just the right size. Some similar cat scratchers are huge! This one tucks in nicely next to the furniture without dominating the room.

However, the height and sturdiness are perfect for our cats—they absolutely love it, and it's become a favorite for them to stretch and scratch on. The natural sisal is really durable, and I can tell this post will last for a long time.One thing I really appreciated was how simple it was to put together. Let me tell you, this is not the most aesthetically designed scratching post in the world, but it’s definitely a heavy-duty, good-quality product.
Easy to assemble with just four screws and an Allen wrench (included). It only takes a few minutes to set up! This thing is huge! My cats have never seen a scratcher this big before, but they immediately started sniffing around until one of them decided to start scratching. What a joy! They seem to love the new scratching post. It’s also very sturdy.
The material used for scratching is very durable, which is great for this kind of cat activity. It will definitely last a lot longer than many of the scratching posts you can buy in supermarkets or online stores. And that’s what matters—the good quality and the fact that the cats like it.
Take a look at the photos to see how big the post is. I tried to shoot a video of my cat scratching it, but for some reason, once I pointed my camera at her, she would just walk away until I hid the camera. Go figure! But she definitely loves to scratch it more often than the old one we had.

My cat really likes sisal posts, so I ordered this one. The post arrived along with two separate base fiberboard pieces, four large screws, tool, and instructions. Very easily put together. Since I placed on carpet, I was not concerned about lack of any grips on bottom. That scratcher is 27" tall and the base has substantial stability of almost 12" square. Very sturdy and seems well made. The top perch is approximately 6" square so is just enough for standing or sitting if my cat wants.
