Some of the hair clips worked ok but the banana clips come apart while you are trying to secure them in the hair. The bottom end easily comes apart. It needs to have a ball and socket on the bottom end so the banana clip can rotate and gather the hair. In addition., another of the clips with a comb connecting the two end pieces doesn’t work at all. It seems to be made with ends that are identical. This means they don’t connect . Both end have a hook the face in the same direction so the clip can’t lock in the hair. It is a defective design. Overall it was disappointing.

I broke two while trying to put them on. I wasn't forcing them or being rough, they got stuck on themselves and broke instantly. My hair is pretty thick, so I need to use larger sizes than you'd think for the length. If you wanted to get these to test them out & see which sizes you'd like/need then this is perfect. Otherwise, just get a better quality one

I used to wear these back in the day, so I thought since they've been around for so long, every brand had to have perfected their production of them by now right? Nope I was wrong. These are very low quality and don't work.

I got the 2 banana clips from kitsch brand (or something like that) off amazon and they were great but expensive ($10 for 2). I wanted more options for the same price so I purchased these. I WILL be RETURNING them.

1) No hold The teeth are poorly place. There is not variation in teeth size so it doesn't hold well. It can't even hold my toddlers hair which is fine and light. You will start with your clip touching your head and then by minute 15 it'll slide down a centimeter or so.
2) none of the true shape of a banana clip
3) the one with the elastic bottom serves no real purpose. You can't use it the way you think
4) the small oval ones are good for a pony tail but it'll fall out within the hour.
4) I cam guarantee these will break soon. Only trying the black one on twice I can see the hinge loosening up

Time to try a different brand. I will make an update if I do.
