    Works as stated.
    I can only review what I am using the microphone for, and it works flawlessly. I use it to dictate words to my computer. I plugged the microphone USB into my computer's USB port and it was instantly connected to my Chromebox and up and running.While I was speaking, there was music playing in the background and that did not interfere with my words. There were no errors printed from my voice, so it heard me speaking very clearly. This is exactly what I needed for my personal use and I am very pleased with it.

      Silly me didn't realize that monitors don't always come with microphones anymore or webcams. I don't use a mic very often but occasionally I'll do some recording. Amazingly it works better than my mic Well worth the money small and compact easy to flex that little arm down so it's out of my way but still able to pick my voice up well.       I picked this up because the built-in microphone on my computer decided to stop working. This has a nice, small form factor, and the neck is pretty flexible, so you can put it behind your display with just the tip showing. There was no need for any drivers or other software - just plug it in, select it as your input device and it works fine. I am not a gamer, so I cannot say how well it meets those needs, but it works perfectly for regular video conference purposes. If you find yourself in a similar situation and need a good-quality mic, try this.

      Mic seems to work OK. However, computer is VERY slow to come up if this mic is plugged in during computer start-up - 3 to 5 minutes slow! As opposed to 30 - 45 seconds without it being plugged in. I'll just have to leave it unplugged until I need it, and just get it set up then.

      Ever since the stay-at-home days started, I've been using my Logitech G533 gaming headset for all my computer audio needs. It has a great mic (and sounds fantastic, BTW), but after months of near daily use I got tired of wearing a big headset for every call. I purchased this mic due to the reasonable price and the many rave reviews, and I am not disappointed!

      As a technical communicator, I need something with quality sound for recording as well as calls. I tested recording on this mic in OBS Studio and I'm quite pleased with how good my voice sounded. People on calls have told me that I come through loud and clear as well. It picks me up clearly from up to 2 feet away, and since it's omnidirectional it will pick up both me and another source of sound in the room, which is important for Zoom karaoke! As long as it's not right next to my laptop's speakers, it will not pick up stray audio. My jet-engine-loud air conditioner does sometimes come through if I'm set up in the living room, right next to the intake vent.

      The hardware itself feels sturdy, including the highly-flexible metal neck, and the base (with a 4x5" footprint) has a good weight to it. The mechanical ON/OFF switch, which has a solid in-and-out click, gives me peace of mind when I want to be sure I'm muted on a call. The ON light is fairly bright, so I covered it in a LightDims original strength sticker and it no longer bugs me (see picture). The cord length is just about perfect, since I'm on a laptop and didn't want to deal with a massive loop of cable cluttering up my desk, but it seems long enough to reach the back of any desktop case without any issues.

      Overall, this is an easy-to-use and high-quality microphone that has everything I need and nothing I don't. It's one of the most satisfying purchases I've made all year, and I highly recommend it if you need a good inexpensive mic.

      This mic has good audio pickup, and decent sound quality, at least to my ears. It was plug and play with Windows 10, and I had no issues in getting it to work with Discord either by setting the input device manually, or reading from Windows' default audio input. The cord is a decent length, and the gooseneck is easily manipulated to be in just about any position needed for your desk setup. It will still uncoil a little bit, but not enough to be annoying. The whole thing is a tad on the light side, so it's easy to move around, but it's also maybe a little tipsy for some people's liking.

      My chief complaint about this unit is also one of the main reasons I purchased it -- the hardware mute button. Other reviews have mentioned that it doesn't fully mute the audio input, but I didn't use it long enough to validate that claim. However, the mute button itself is an extremely loud "click" associated with it that the mic picks up and subsequently transmits, resulting in a very loud "pop" for people on the other end of the call. If it weren't for the loud mute/unmute button noise, I'd have given this more of a shot, but, ultimately, I decided to return it.
