This is one of my favorite multi colors of Red Heart acrylic yarn. It was purchased on special from Amazon at a lower per skein cost than local yarn stores or catalog prices. Free shipping and next day delivery added value to this purchase.
I’ll be making a medium sized charity blanket with this yarn adding a mix of several of the solid colors from the skein. Red Heart works up with good stitch definition and is very durable. It can be washed and dried by machine, especially important for donated items. Tho’ a bit stuff initially, a wash or two in warm water with your favorite laundry soap softens the yarn quite nicely. The colors never run or fade.
I have a larger than king sized blanket I crocheted over 40 years ago for use during our many camping adventures. It has served my six rescue cats as their night & day sleeping blanket for over11 years. And despite all their padding not a single stitch has come unraveled! That’s great value for the cost.
