Travel Texas hires VMC Media

Tourism organization Travel Texas has retained VMC Media of Toronto as its Canadian media agency of record. VMC will manage media planning and buying in Canada for communications campaigns intended to attract tourists to the state. The agency will service the account in association with Proof Advertising of Austin.
“This collaboration with Proof Advertising is a venture that will leverage our respective skills and deliver significant benefits in Canada,” said John Marraffino, president and CEO of VMC Media. “We’re looking forward to hitting the ground running to help Proof accelerate Travel Texas’ brand growth. Most importantly, we want to be a major contributor and inspire visitors to travel to the Lone Star State.”
