As a part of our mission, we provide a fully-functional non-commercial Free Edition of ALGLIB, including the same set of basic and advanced numerical algorithms as the Commercial Edition - from linear algebra and statistics to large-scale continuous and discrete optimization problems. The only limitation of the Free Edition is a lack of high-performance features (SIMD kernels and multithreading) and its non-commercial licensing model. It is widely used by universities and research institutions all over the world.
The Commercial Edition adds to our free offer a flexible commercial license (no royalties or redistribution fees), extensive performance optimizations (SIMD and parallelism) and long-term maintenance and support. ALGLIB is used in industry, research and finance by companies who need reliable numerical building blocks in their own products.
