Blog Theme Update Mermaid Support Is Here

Introduction

The blog theme now supports Mermaid. From now on, I can put flowcharts, sequence diagrams, and simple architecture diagrams directly into Markdown. No more drawing a diagram, exporting it, uploading it, and then coming back to add the link.

This post also doubles as a quick test of the new feature.

Introduction

I have access to LLM APIs from several different providers. I use Hermes for all kinds of tasks, and I do not want to edit the Hermes configuration every time I switch models. So I set up LiteLLM and put the models from those different providers behind one OpenAI-compatible API. Hermes only needs to be configured once. After that, when I want to switch the underlying model, I just change the model mapping in the LiteLLM admin UI.

I first got everything working locally and confirmed that the models could actually be called. Then I moved it to Kubernetes and connected PostgreSQL, Redis, Traefik, and ArgoCD. This post documents the full setup and a few problems I ran into along the way.

我手里有多个渠道的大模型接口。平时用 Hermes 跑各种任务，换模型的时候不想每次去改 Hermes 的配置。所以搭了个 LiteLLM，把不同渠道的模型收进同一个 OpenAI 兼容接口。Hermes 只需要配置一次，之后想切换底层模型，在 LiteLLM 的管理页面把模型映射改一下就行。

先在本机跑通，确认模型真能调用，再搬到 Kubernetes。最终接了 PostgreSQL、Redis、Traefik 和 ArgoCD。这篇记录一下完整配置，还有中间碰到的几个坑。

Today I stumbled on an article about the Finger protocol (Finger: the 1971 social network that never died, written by Andros Fenollosa at en.andros.dev) and learned there was a social network back in 1971, and my Mac had the client preinstalled all along. The article mentions happynetbox.com, a site that turned the Finger protocol into a social network. I signed up for an account, wrote a script that syncs my local ~/.plan file to it, and set up a morning job that translates updates to Chinese for me. This post covers the whole process and the pitfalls.
