KFC, also known as Kentucky Fried Chicken, is an American fast food restaurant chain headquartered in Louisville, Kentucky, that specializes in fried chicken. It is the world's second-largest restaurant chain after McDonald's, with 22,621 locations globally in 136 countries as of December 2018.
Our objective is to revamp the KFC brand and make it once again relevant to the Egypt youth. Engaging and localizing regional campaigns and content. Reward and engage loyal customers. Local initiatives and engagement activities to drive traffic and sales. To make KFC the most trusted and loved restaurant brand in MENA.
This concept is playing around KFC's famous secret recipe, and how every kitchen is trying to replicate it with no luck, even-though we know the 11 secret spices for the recipe nobody could achieve the same amazing crispy taste of the chicken.
So we came up with the tagline "kan fadel al ser taka" meaning it was very close to find the secret in Arabic slang. The video concept shows different scenarios of people in various times that were trying to master the recipe, and when they were almost there, an unfortunate event happened that prevented them of reaching it, like war, earthquake etc..
