This series I’ve been working on is inspired by the human need to connect, know and create, by the curiosity that can drive our mind to the wildest places.

What if we could divide knowledge in branches like in the Age of Enlightenment? Three categories originally thought by Francis Bacon, and perfected for the Encyclopaedia by Diderot and Jean le Rond d’Alembert: Memory, Reason and Imagination.

Reason
Thinking about thinking. Endless thoughts, theories. Is truth achievable? Is the world a perfect geometry tending to chaos? Maybe the truth is perfection, and we are just imperfect beings, admiring the wondrous magic of life.

Creativity
The mind breathes fire. Can’t stop writing. The cat is so curious it was killed but brought back to life and grew a third eye. What’s behind the window? Are they giants or is it just a windmill? Time flies, but does time exist?

Memory
The Knight riding the horse, writing the past with each step. Telling us that time is just a perception, the past might be broken, and the future is infinite.
I hope you enjoyed this series! Let me know what you think :)
