BaoActive Packaging design
The parent company Ecoproduct owns the BaoActive brand, a superfood powder product. The aim of the project was to develop labels for two new blend varieties of the Baobab Superfruit product and design 2 Doypack designs for the new blends: Baobab & Moringa; Baobab & Hibiscus.
Scope

The creative opportunity presented itself to create labels that succesfully capture the nature of both Hibiscus and moringa along side the baobab within their respective blends. The Hisbiscuss with its warm delicate visual properties, and the moringa it's distinctive oval leaf shapes and freshness. Several design options were created before landing on the final design.

Baobab powder is a nutrient-dense pulp that is extracted from baobab fruit. When the fruit are ripe the pulp inside the fruit dries out naturally, concentrating all the nutrients into a naturally formed powder. The powder is extracted from the fruit, separated from the seed. Baobab powder had an impressive nutritional profile of bio-available nutrients. It is exceptionally high in Vitamin C , good for boosting the immune system and dietary fibres which acts as a pre-biotic boosting gut health. Baobab powder is also an excellent source of plant-based minerals such as calcium, magnesium, potassium and iron.
