I collaborated with Abdulsadam Umar and Osunleke Samuel to create a brand identity for Brket. Brket also known as Brand Market, is an innovative platform designed to facilitate seamless collaboration between brands and marketers.
By providing a dynamic marketplace, Brket allows brands to post their products and connect with marketers who are eager to promote and sell these products under various commission-based conditions. This mutually beneficial system enhances product visibility and drives sales while enabling marketers to earn commissions.

As the lead icon designer, I was tasked with creating new icons that would expand Brket's brand identity and increase brand recognition. The icons needed to be modern, bold, and versatile enough to work on both digital and physical platforms.
While being inspired by the Brket’s wordmark, I combined established icon design principles with a deep understanding of brand values to create a set of icons that perfectly captured their unique personality.
We experimented with various styles, drawing inspiration from Brket's logo and typography. Through a collaborative process involving multiple revisions, we finalized a style that seamlessly integrated with Brket's brand identity while effectively conveying different concepts.
It was crucial that the icons' personality complemented the clear communication of each concept, and the chosen style achieved the perfect balance.
To maintain visual consistency, all strokes were aligned at 90 or 45 degrees. This constraint proved surprisingly fruitful, leading to innovative and engaging ways to convey different concepts. Additionally, 90-degree corners feature beveled joins, circles were substituted with heptagons, and single, continuous strokes were prioritized whenever feasible.
It was incredibly rewarding to see my icon designs for Brket come to life. From the initial sketches to the final, approved versions, it was a fulfilling journey. The icons exceeded the client's expectations by enhancing user experience and strengthening brand recognition.
