INTRO
This 30-second animation for Endless Foundation tells the story of three friends collaborating on the early concept of a video game. Set in the cozy, imaginative space where creativity and friendship meet, the film captures their shared passion and the spark of something bigger taking shape. The animation focuses on the essence of collaboration, the ups and downs of the creative process, and the excitement of building a world together—one idea at a time.
APPROACH
How do you squeeze a whole story into just 30 seconds?
Stylization to the rescue!
For this one, we leaned into a comic book vibe – it naturally ties into gaming culture, plus it let us compress scenes and crank up the action while keeping everything super clear. We actually designed the comic look right at the storyboard stage.

STYLE
We kicked things off with character design. Our characters are stylized but still feel “human” –
in that relatable, everyday way. We really wanted younger viewers to see themselves in the heroes,
to connect with them and feel inspired. Their shapes are dynamic, slightly geometric, which gave us a strong foundation for the illustration style. And honestly, this style just clicks perfectly with the comic book approach!

CHARACTER ANIMATION
For animation, we went with a mix of frame-by-frame and motion design. That combo gave us the flexibility to punch certain moments, while also bringing expressions and gestures to life. It makes the characters move in a way that feels more natural – and way more engaging.
The contours and angularity of the characters worked well with the economical style of movement, emphasizing the character of the entire animation.

COMPOSITING
Finally, thanks to clever compositional techniques, we set the comic frames in motion. This made it easier for the viewer to follow the new frames appearing on the screen, while maintaining the continuity and consistency of the narrative.
