KOKKŌPI
BRANDING IDENTITY
BRANDING IDENTITY
PROJECT
kokkōpi is built for people who like their mornings loud, their coffee strong, and their branding a little offbeat. The name comes from kokekokkō, the Japanese rooster crow, mixed with kopi. It’s a small nod to where we started, but we’ve grown into something messier, funnier, and far more caffeinated than we expected.
The logo and mascot development started with chaos—literally. We tried dozens of directions: from wild-eyed chickens to brooding beaks, from curvy strokes to clean geometry. What we landed on was a logotype that feels alive. Each letter tilts like it had too much espresso. It’s loud, a bit awkward, and unapologetically bold. Just like our brand.
Our rooster isn’t just a character. He’s a caffeine-powered anomaly from another timeline. Not polished. Not perfect. He just showed up, made noise, and claimed the spotlight. The color palette follows the same energy. Loud primaries, strong contrast, no apologies. It’s not about being refined. It’s about being remembered.
